Qoves's software places 512 to 521 points on your photos (its pages give both numbers) and works out the measurements. Qoves lists a ten-person medical advisory board, mostly plastic surgeons, plus a dermatologist and a longevity doctor.

The analysis has nine whole-face areas (first impression, dimorphism, prototypicality, proportions, symmetry, neoteny, face shape, adiposity and facial contrast) and twelve features. The plan has nine sections: introduction, considerations, findings, overview, visual changes, recommendations, action plan, estimations and summary.

Counts differ between Qoves's own pages: 100+, 160+ and 200+ tests, and 4, 6 or 9 photos. The assessments list on Qoves's homepage adds up to 169. This review follows the checkout and the portal.

A phone held close makes the nose look larger (Ward 2018), and the lens used changes both the face's shape in the photo and how others judge it (Třebický 2016). The traits Qoves scores, such as averageness, symmetry and how masculine or feminine a face reads, are the ones studied most in attractiveness research (Little 2011). Qoves compares you with people of your own background, and face proportions do differ between ethnic groups (Farkas 2005).
